The Best Crisp Berry Cobbler Recipe
Time to gather your ingredients because you are about to make a sweet treat your family will go crazy for! Serve this yummy cobbler with a heaping scoop of vanilla ice cream and watch as everyone licks their bowls clean.
Ingredients
- 2 (12oz) bags frozen mixed berries
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- ½ cup oats
- ½ cup chopped walnuts
- ½ cup melted salted butter
- vanilla ice cream for serving
Step 1
Spread both bags of frozen berries onto the bottom of greased 7×11 baking dish. You can actually use any frozen berries that you’d like! The mix offers a nice variety but you could also try blueberries, strawberries, or even blackberries alone.
Step 2
In a large bowl, mix together the dry cake mix, oats, chopped walnuts and melted butter. The mixture will be crumbly and dry once combined.
Step 3
Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the frozen berries and bake in a 350° F oven for 40-50 minutes or until the berries are bubbly hot and the crumbly topping is golden brown.
Step 4
Allow the cobbler to cool for about 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream!

Easy Triple Berry Cobbler Made With Cake Mix
Ingredients
- 2 (12oz) bags frozen mixed berries (6 cups)
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- ½ cup salted butter (melted)
- ½ cup oats
- ½ cup chopped walnuts
- vanilla ice cream for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350° F and grease a 7x11 baking dish (or anything similar in size).
- Spread both bags of frozen berries onto the bottom of your prepared dish.
- In a large bowl, mix together the dry box of cake mix, oats, walnuts, and melted butter.
- Spread the crumbly mixture evenly over the frozen berries and bake in the center rack of your oven for 40-50 minutes, or until the fruit is hot and bubbly and the crumble topping starts to brown.
- Serve warm with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream!
Notes
- There's no need to prepare the box of cake mix, simply mix it in dry.
- Every oven seems to vary greatly with this recipe depending on the dish used, so keep a close eye on the cobbler while it's baking.
- Refrigerate any leftovers for up to 4 days and reheat individual serving in the microwave for about 45 seconds.
