- 1 family size box brownie mix (plus the ingredients needed on the box)

- ⅓ cup sugar
- 1 egg
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Prepare the store-bought box of brownie mix according to the package instructions which usually includes oil and eggs. Pour the batter into a greased or parchment paper lined 9×13 baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and then beat in the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until well blended.
- Evenly dollop spoonfuls of the cheesecake mixture all over the brownie batter and then use a butterknife, fork, or small spatula to swirl it around to create a marbled effect.
- Bake, uncovered, in the middle rack of your oven at 350° F for 35-40 minutes.
If you cover your pan with parchment paper before dumping the batter in, it makes it effortless to pop the brownies out and cut into individual servings without making a mess.
