Imagine yourself basking in the sun by the pool with a yummy pineapple frosty treat in one hand and a spoon in the other. This amazing cold dessert is super simple to whip up in your blender with a few basic ingredients that you can easily keep stocked to make sure you stay cool all summer long.
Bring the magic of Disneyland to your own kitchen!
The Disney version of this recipe is dairy free, so this is more of an upgrade than a copycat recipe in my opinion. It’s creamier with more vanilla flavor, making it refreshing and comforting at the same time. It has the consistency of a frosty with the energizing flavor of fruit!
Ingredients
- 1 big scoop vanilla ice cream
- 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice (4oz)
Instructions
Place everything into a good quality blender and mix until smooth. Start with 1/2 cup of juice and add more if needed. If you’re using one of the small cans, you should have about 2 ounces left.
Because frozen pineapple can be hard to pulse, you may find it helpful to allow the pineapple to thaw on the counter for 5-10 minutes before blending, especially if you don’t have a high powered blender.

This easy dessert recipe tastes like the combination of vanilla soft serve and fruity sorbet. The combination of textures and flavors is AWESOME! The beauty of this recipe is that all of the ingredients are easy to find at most grocery stores and can be kept stored in the freezer until ready to use, so there’s always a dole whip ready for you with a blender and 5 minutes of time.
